"THE" JAZZ CAMP PROGRAM |
|
| |
JAZZ ORCHESTRA and JAZZ COMBOS meet on a daily basis. They are conducted by Faculty who implement the essentials of jazz performance in both large and small ensemble setting. Tuning, balance, blend, articulation and fundamental concepts in all jazz styles will be discussed, in addition to jazz improvisation.

JAZZ WORKSHOPS are established to introduced the less experienced and beginning level students to the basic elements of improvisation, reading chord changes, and the appropriate use of chord scales and melodic development.
|

| |
JAZZ VOCAL meets on a daily basis, conducted by Faculty who offer vocalists the opportunity to perform with ensembles.
|
|
| |
MASTER CLASSES are held on a regular basis in each instrumental division. In addition to classes, and at discretion of the Faculty Member involved, individual instruction might be arranged.
|
|
| |
EVENING CONCERTS featuring performances by the jazz faculty. "After Hours Sessions" each evening provide an opportunity for the campers to perform for their peers.
